Elise's stay in okinawa part 1

So Elise came for a visit for her birthday! it was really nice to have my best friend here a while and catch up like old times. She arrived at the Naha airport on the 16th at 9pm. We had lawsons and called it a night since she was tired. The next day i took her to american village and we just shopped around. On saturday, we had a bbq at the fleetwood's and then headed to the flea market. Went on the ferris wheel and saw this dude throw flaming sticks around afterwards.









I tried to post videos but it wouldn't let me. Fail. oh well! check out Elise's blog for the videos. I am going to post botanical garden photos on the next one.

New blog!!!

soooo due to some minor complications....i made another blog so i don't have to censor what i put in this thing. I thought it was kind of silly to have one if i wasn't going to post whatever i wanted. So here it is! Low key and simple. Elise came to visit for 2 weeks for her birthday which was awesome, but i will probably post those pictures later. I got a lot of catching up to do...so for this post i am just going to talk about what we have been up to for the past 4 months or so. Well kathleen's sister came to town so we hung out with the fleetwood's a lot. Gil and i have been working a lot so we havn't been doing a lot of sight seeing. We made it through one year of marriage(hooray) and decided to stop being cheap and furnish our house. He bought me these awesome couches, and i bought him a 46" sony television. For 4th of july, gilbert had work all weekend so that was pretty lame. They had this thing called America fest so they had all these cool planes. Kathleen and i took turns with the D90 to take some photos. During the 4th of july weekend, i crashed and pretty much totaled gilbert's Kei car. LOL. I felt even worse cause it was an old man! The meat melts in your mouth but i was still hungry after i ate it! So expensive and we shared this thing between the two of us! We also had lobster and some other beef but we didn't take a picture of it cause we were too busy stuffing our faces.
