Elise's visit-Bios on the hill

hey everyone! So here is the bios on the hill post. It took us forever to find this place...we were actually supposed to go here on day four or some shit but i got us so lost that we ended up going to the aquarium. Second time around we kind of stumbled upon it...almost got lost again but we saw signs for it. This post is for all the orchid lovers out there. I suppose my mom will enjoy this one, and i will prob take her here when she gets here next year. Gilbert had work so it was just me and Elise again. haha.

The entrance. Picture is bright, i didn't turn down the ISO enough.

On this bridge thing..

Orchids on the bridge

Following the first path

We had no idea where we were going.

This lame maze we found.

Into the maze! It was lame..it led to nothing.

Nice rest area

tiny orchids...there were a lot of different types

They had a bunch of these wooden swings.

Elise being ballsy

poor guy

They had these little houses too..

There were a bunch of roosters running around.

Icecream that tasted like ramune.

San francisco chocolate chip..the closest thing i can get to home.

Dragon bush thing.

Elise posing in front of the dragons.

Another rest area.

Humidity got the camera to fog up =T

i love orchids =)

Took forever for this damn butterfly to land!

Dragon thing in the middle of a lotus field.

Dragonfly!

Lotus.

Don't know what this was but it looked interesting.

These little orchids smelled like chocolate. We overheard the ladies talking about them and something about chocolate too. haha.

Boat tour

Snakeskin guitars.

on ze boat.

This woman just got married. I took a picture of her hair since it was cute. Should of gotten a front shot but i didn't want to look like a creeper.

View from the boat.

Apparently there are only a handful of these trees left on the island.

i remember the guy told us that this fruit was edible and it tasted like an unripe apple. haha.

His rest area...

All the hard work he does pulling those wagons and his "rest area" is an island thing.

Ballsy goat.

weird flower.

water lily

At the orchid shop. So pretty.

The end. Definately taking my mother here when she comes in feb! I think the experience of site seeing wouldn't be so bad if it was less humid. Elise and I had a blast though. I miss her already.
