Tokyo-Day 3

Day 3 was eventful but slower than the last few days. I think by this time, our backs and legs accepted the abuse and it wasn't so painful to walk. Either that, or our legs just went numb. The weather wasn't as bad from what i remember, but it was still very cold for my taste. So we went to the Ghibli museum and two shopping areas afterwards, Shinjuku and Harajuku. For those that have never heard of the Ghibli, it's a museum with Hayao Miyazaki's work. I looove the movie Totoro and Castle in the sky so this was a real treat. Anyways, here are the pictures.

Our bus to the museum.

The dust bunny from the movie totoro!

on the way in. Unfortunately, since it was a museum, we couldn't take any pictures inside..weaksauce.

a cool fountain!

The robot from castle in the sky. So coool!!!
Take 2.

i thought this picture was kind of cool with the girl standing there. Good job Gilbat!

Onward to Shinjuku and Harajuku!

Outside of the station. We wanted to sit for a little bit.

another ninja'd shot of a japanese girl.

So i would say 97% of women in Tokyo wore shorts or skirts...it was a rare occasion to see girls in pants for denim jeans. Work it girl!! mind you..it was pretty damn cold. Pain is beauty!

Boots with the fuurrrr! (O_o!)

Waiting for the train to go to Harajuku.

Takeshita Dori. Another great shopping place.

Sea of people...

LOL.

Sat down to chill for a little bit. Gilbert wastes no time!!! hahaha

Crepes! Getting our ticket.

The menu of deliciousnessssss.

They were pretty good!

Gilbert brought really old raggedy shoes for the trip which is why his feet and back hurt so much so he bought these.....they look like all his other running shoes! but i guess blue is a little different. hehe.

LOL.

Harajuku girl! dude she looked creepy. She has no white in her eyes!!!

Hime-gyaru!!!

We took the train to lidabashi station but was one stop too early. So we ended up walking for a good 30 minutes to get to Tokyo Dome.

Gilbert bought a Tokyo Giants hat as a souvenir.

Holy Moly!! i have been dying to try a denny's in japan. So we did..

We were a bit hungry so we forgot to take pictures of our meal again....(-_-)

Well i apologize for the lack of commentary but the pictures basically tell the story. Stay tuned for Day 4!!
